Accommodation: On this safari, you will be accommodated in typical upper to mid-range African eco lodge establishments, situated either in the National Parks, on the banks of a river, or other place of interest. Lodge Safaris offer accommodation with a mix of lodges, chalets and tented camps. All of them have a private bathroom with a shower or bath and a toilet. Some properties are equipped with swimming pools and/or bar areas.

Day 1 & 2: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe [B] Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe, you will be met and transferred to Ilala Lodge. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to experience some of the optional activities that are on offer such as boat cruises, bungee jumping, elephant back safaris and much more, or simply sit back and relax and take in the view. On the morning of day 2, you will have the opportunity to explore the mighty Victoria Falls on a guided tour. There will still be time for additional optional activities in the afternoon should you wish to partake in these. Accommodation: Ilala Lodge or similar (rooms with en-suite bathrooms, swimming pool, restaurant & bar)
Day 3 & 4: Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe [BLD, BLD] After breakfast you will be picked up and transferred to Hwange National Park where you will spend two nights at the Elephant’s Eye, Hwange Lodge situated in a private concession. Your game activities, park fees and meals are included. The area is home to many predators and endangered species such as the wild dog, plus a very large and varied birdlife. On arrival at the lodge you will embark on a half-day game drive in the concession and visit the Painted Dogs Conservation Centre in the afternoon to learn about the efforts made to protect the endangered wild. The next day is spent on a full day game drive exploring the magnificent Hwange National Park. Accommodation: Elephant’s Eye, Sable Sands or similar (chalets with en-suite bathroom, swimming pool & bar area)
Day 5 & 6: Hwange National Park to Chobe National Park, Botswana [BLD, BLD] This morning we will take a short guided walk to a traditional homestead to experience the way of life of the local community. Thereafter you will be transferred to Kasane, the gateway to the Chobe National Park, where you will spend the next two nights. Your package includes all your meals and game activities (2 game drives and a game viewing boat cruise). The Chobe River, which flows along the northeast border of the park, is a major watering spot for large breeding herds of elephants, as well as families of giraffe, sable and Cape buffalo. The flood plains are the only place in Botswana where the puku antelope can be seen. Birding is also excellent here. Accommodation: Chobe Bakwena Lodge or similar (rooms with en-suite bathrooms, swimming pool, restaurant & bar)
Day 7: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe [B] Depending on your departure time, you will be picked up and transferred back across the border to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight. We hope to welcome you on one of our African adventures again soon.

Insurance It is compulsory for all travelers to have insurance covering their personal requirements, medical expenses and personal possessions. This is to be arranged before leaving your home country. SA Tours and Safaris can assist you with your travel insurance, please enquire with our consultants for further information.
Transport Transfers are usually conducted in sedan vehicles or minibuses. The game drives take place in open 4x4 vehicles. For transfers between Kasane and Victoria Falls or Hwange and Victoria Falls (or vice versa), 2x4 vehicles may be utilised.

Spending money Clients are advised to bring enough money to cover the purchase of curios, tips, alcoholic drinks and additional entertainment. US Dollars and Botswana Pula are the most practical and convenient currencies.
Meals Meals included in your safari will be taken in the restaurants at the various accommodation establishments. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance.
Luggage Maximum baggage allowance: 15 kg. Jenman Safaris stipulates this luggage allowance, as an overloaded vehicle is a danger to both the clients and the guide. This does not include photographic equipment and a small daypack. Please bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase. Don't bring too much clothing, as there are washing opportunities along the way. Please adhere to the allowance specified as space for luggage is limited.
Participation This is a non-participation safari.
Visas: The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa prior to departure.
