Wildlife Sightings and Scenic Offerings:
During your safari you will witness the dramatic scenery of Botswana's national parks and game reserves, while the many different ecosystems you will travel to are home to a wide variety of wildlife, and a kaleidoscope of birdlife.

Chobe National Park is renowned for its breeding herds of elephants which line the river in their thousands, while crocodiles bask in the sun and hippos lie submerged in the cool waters of the Chobe River. Further inland are grassy plains which feature rare roan, sable, red lechwe, puku and bushbuck antelopes are frequented by giraffes, buffalos, zebras, lions, leopards and wild dog.

The serpentine channels of the Okavango Delta weave in and out of Moremi Game Reserve and in addition to healthy populations of predator and prey species, the area is known for the rare sitatunga antelope and the recently reintroduced white and black rhino.

Finally, the Makgadikgadi National Park is home to the second largest zebra migration in the world, which attracts numerous predators. The park is also home to the white rhino, and the newly flowing Boteti River is expected to attract breeding herds of elephants to add to the park's sizable bull population.

Birdlife across Botswana is unparalleled and guests are likely to see the African Skimmer, Fish Eagle, Western Banded Snake-Eagle, Pied and Malachite Kingfischer, Saddle-billed and Maribou Stork, Goliath Heron, Southern Ground Hornbill, Kori Bustard, Secretary Bird, Carmine Bee Eater, Lilac Breasted Roller, and, for the very lucky, Pel's Fishing Owl.
